💔 A Deeply Personal Message.
After nearly a decade of sweat, strength, laughter, and community, I’m heartbroken to share that our Bournemouth gym will be closing its doors this November.
We tried to negotiate a new lease, but the landlords have decided to take back the space and turn it into a private gym for their office building residents, following the same model they’ve rolled out at their other properties like Richmond House.
I won’t lie, this has hit me hard. This gym has been my second home. For many of you, it’s been the place where you've rebuilt your confidence, found lifelong friends, hit your first PBs, and reminded yourself of what you're capable of. We’ve grown together, failed together, and come back stronger, time and time again.
And while this chapter is closing, our story isn’t over.
We’re pouring everything into our Poole gym to make it more than just a backup option. It’s now the new heartbeat of 180, with the same incredible coaching team, world-class equipment, programs you already know and love, and even more sessions added to the timetable. It’s just 15 minutes down the road, and it’s ready to feel like home from the moment you walk in.
I know this might come with questions or worries, especially if you’ve got unused membership time or PT sessions. Please don’t stress: I’ll be contacting every single one of you personally to make sure nothing is lost, and your transition is smooth.
It’s been the greatest honour to coach and support you at Bournemouth. I hope you’ll continue your journey with us, not just to stay fit, but to carry this special community forward into something even better.
